The hotel is okay but its very hard to find.... Hotel staff quite excellent attend to guest needs... Overall of the hotel is good
Breakfast is too heavy is like eating my lunch...
We loved our stay at hotel Mawar. The young and friendly personnel was willing to help us with all our needs. The room was really nice, especially the neatness of the room amazed us for Indonesian standards. We actually wondered why it only had one star. We would have expected it to be about 3. When we stayed there we took the standard room. It doesn't have much room..enough to walk around the bed and place a tv and closet. The shower was quite large to comparison, with an awesome rainshower. Well worth a stay for a couple of nights. If you want a bigger room, just go for the deluxe. Well worth the extra money!
Value for money. Strategic location. Friendly and helpful staff.
The lane on the way to hotel from the main road was very crowded. Only few parking lots available in front of the hotel. Room was not make up on daily basis.
The location is great, very close to key scenery, and the hotel staff are friendly. They even allow us to bring the hotel towel when we visited the hot spring out of the town. The ambience is great, the room is really great for value.
Breakfast selection is poor, and it serves very slowly. On weekdays, you have to wait at least 10 mins for that. The hotel was occupied by a group of tourists on Sunday during our 4 day stay, and the tourist guide use loud speaker to wake the people from the tour up in the morning, which is very noisy. The hotel staff speaks poor English, could not provide simple assistance in direction and map.
